June 2 2012

Today we went to the Pergamon in Berlin. It was incredible! The best museum EVER! I loved walking through and seeing the antiquities collection. We then had free time and saw the Brandenburg Gate (something I couldn’t miss) and then we went our separate ways. I went to a Starbucks on Frederickstraβe and watched people and listened in on conversations as best as my little German will allow.

When we returned to Wittenberg all of us from MSU went out and I find it much easier to practice my German around Wittenberg. I think I feel more at home here now. I was able to do many of the basic transactions and felt much more comfortable, and less judged. Also,  Jennifer taught me real estate agent (Immobilienmakler, -in) today.
