Q. What
is/are your goal(s)? How comfortable do you feel speaking German today?
What is one thing/place you want to see in Germany? What is one thing
you want to eat/drink
in Germany? What is one fear that you have about this trip/course? Do
you think you may be homesick and how do you plan to deal with it? Are
you excited about living in Germany for five weeks?
Write down three questions of your own, which you would like to have answered.
My main goals are to work on my accent and confidence to speak German. I am not comfortable at all in speaking German. I know what I should be saying but for some reason I get all tongue-tied; for example, when I have to do public speaking, and my words refuse to cooperate.
One thing I want to see in Germany? I can't think of any site in particular; I want to experience the culture, I want to be able to sit and people watch.
One fear I have is making sure my grades stay up even with all the stress of being in a different environment. I don't think I will be homesick, I have been waiting for this for a long time and when I travel on my own domestically I don't get homesick so I am not terribly worried.
YES! I am very excited about living in Germany for 5 weeks. I am nervous about speaking the language, especially the first week when I know it will be difficult to find the courage to speak but I am still very excited about every other aspect of being in Germany.

Three questions: I guess I would like to know the schedule, how much free time we have, and whether I will be able to explore a little on my own if I want.
